Race-Day Information
Dear Coach(s):
Please HELP WITH THE FOLLOWING:
1) Have each athlete check his/her bib number and his name tag number. They need to be the same number. Correct any mistakes by exchanging the tags so that they match the bib number.
2) Make sure that the athletes have their bib numbers pinned on before they go to the starting line.
3) Make sure that all your athletes report together to the clerk 10 minutes before the start of their race.
4) If you don't have enough pins for your runners' bibs, check at the results table. We will have a limited supply for your team. Recycle the pins among your team members from one race to another.
5) If you do not have a bib number for one of your athletes, give him/her a bib number that belongs to an athlete that will not be running today. Fill out an Add/Change Form for that athlete and bring it to the results table. If you do not have any leftover bib numbers, fill out the Add/Change Form for those without a bib number and bring it to the results table.
6) Keep runners and parents away from the results table and computer tables. Only coaches should handle questions/problems.
7) Today’s results will be posted at this website http://teamtrax.net/cifssxcprelims/
8) Join the California Coaches Alliance. The membership fee is $25 per coach or $85 for the entire staff (track and cross country). Each coach will have $1,000,000 liability coverage. Your membership will empower the Alliance leadership to pursue improvements in our sports that will enhance your runner experience.
REGISTERING FOR CIF-SS FINALS
If your team or an individual on your team is fortunate enough to qualify for the CIF-SS Finals, CONGRATULATIONS!
PLEASE READ BELOW TO DETERMINE WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:

If all of the team members who ran today will run again next Saturday, your team is automatically registered. You don’t have to do anything else. HOWEVER, YOU MAY double-check your entries by following the directions below to login to the website and display your registered athletes. Athlete names may be substituted, but no more than 9 athletes per boys/girls team may be registered for the finals.

If one or more individuals qualified today, but not your entire team, those individuals will be automatically registered. HOWEVER, YOU MAY double-check your entries by following the directions below to login to the website and display your registered athlete(s).

If you submit an Add/Change form at the Meet today, those same changes will be included in the FINALS also. HOWEVER, YOU MAY double-check your entries by following the directions below to login to the website and display your registered athletes. If you wish to revert to your original lineup before you submitted the Add/Change form today, you can do that also when you check your entries.
Athlete registration changes will close Sunday morning at 7:00am. Divisions 2, 4, and 5 will be able to verify entries as early as 3:00pm Saturday afternoon. Divisions 1 and 3 will be able to verify entries by 6:00pm.
STEPS TO VERIFY OR CHANGE REGISTRATION ENTRIES:

Go to http://teamtrax.net/cifssxcfinals/ and click the “Teams by Division” menu link.

Find your Username (sorted by team within division).

Login with your Username and password ("teamtrax" in lower case letters). If you have any problems with the login, immediately contact TeamTrax Support at 888-598-3431 or email support@teamtrax.net .

Once logged in, under the menu "Athlete Registration", select the "Register Athletes in Meet" menu link.

Verify that the names listed are those who will compete next Saturday for your school. If you need to make any changes, select by clicking in the box next to each name. Then, go to the bottom of the page and click either "Add to the Meet" or "Remove from Meet" as appropriate.

You will see a list of all the athletes registered. Verify your list as these will be the athletes entered in the Finals.
