Foundation
The Rolling Hills Education Foundation was formed during the 2008-2009 school year in response to cuts in state funding which will profoundly impact Rolling Hills School.
The goal of the foundation is to support the Rolling Hills Elementary School Physical Education and Media Center programs. These programs have received recognition as being exemplary in support of student health and literacy, and are at the heart of many of the wonderful things that happen at Rolling Hills School.
The Rolling Hills Education Foundation is comprised of parents, teachers, and other school staff. This dedicated school-based group is an asset and provides volunteers and donations; however, wider community members and businesses are also generous in their support and assistance. This support is essential to the foundation’s success. The Rolling Hills Education Foundation will host its Second Annual Rockin' Roadrunner Run/Walk Challenge & Kids Fun Run on Sunday, March 27, 2011.
Proceeds from the Rolling Hills Pancake Breakfast, which is traditionally held each May, will also go to support Foundation goals. In addition, the Foundation will soon be launching a Recycling Program and Ebay Fundraiser Program specifically developed to meet our goal of saving the outstanding Physical Education and Media Services Programs at Rolling Hills School.
